My Voyages — MVP Testing Script

For: Quik, Vision, My Voyages Team App: My Voyages — Travel Social Platform Web URL: develop.myvoyages.com (or current Amplify develop URL) Mobile: TestFlight (iOS) / Internal Testing (Android)

How to report bugs: Tap the floating feedback button (bottom-right corner). Describe what went wrong, include a screenshot.

Test 1: Sign Up & Sign In

What to test:

  1. Open the app (web or mobile)
  2. Tap “Sign Up” — create an account with your email
  3. Pick a username
  4. Verify your email
  5. Sign in — you should land on your feed or home page

What to look for:

  • Does sign-up complete without errors?
  • Is the username availability check working?
  • Can you sign in after verification?
  • Does the app show your profile after login?

Test 2: Profile & Social

What to test:

  1. Go to your profile
  2. Edit your profile — change photo, bio, display name
  3. Search for another user
  4. Follow someone
  5. Send a friend request

What to look for:

  • Can you see and edit your profile?
  • Does profile photo upload work?
  • Does user search return results?
  • Do follow/friend actions work?
  • Can you see followers and following counts?

Test 3: Create a Trip

What to test:

  1. Go to “Trips” or “Create Trip”
  2. Create a new trip — name, dates, destinations
  3. Add destinations to the trip
  4. Invite other users to join
  5. Save the trip

What to look for:

  • Can you create a trip with all required fields?
  • Can you add multiple destinations?
  • Does inviting other users work?
  • Can you see the trip on your trips list?

Test 4: Social Feed & Posts

What to test:

  1. Go to the main feed
  2. Create a new post — write something, add a photo
  3. Like and comment on someone else’s post
  4. Share a post
  5. Bookmark a post

What to look for:

  • Does the feed load with posts?
  • Can you create a post with text and images?
  • Do likes, comments, shares work?
  • Can you bookmark and find bookmarked posts later?

Test 5: Explore Destinations

What to test:

  1. Go to the Explore section
  2. Browse destinations
  3. Search for a specific place
  4. View destination details — photos, experiences, stamps

What to look for:

  • Are destinations displayed with images and info?
  • Does search work?
  • Can you see detailed info about a destination?

Test 6: Flight Search & Booking

What to test:

  1. Go to Flights
  2. Search for flights (pick any two cities, future date)
  3. View search results
  4. Select a flight
  5. Go through the booking flow
  6. Use test card: 4242 4242 4242 4242 (any future date, any CVC)

What to look for:

  • Does the flight search return results? (Uses Amadeus API)
  • Are results displayed with airline, times, and price?
  • Does selecting a flight move you to booking?
  • Does payment work with the test card?
  • Can you see the booking in “My Bookings”?

Test 7: Hotel Search & Booking

What to test:

  1. Go to Hotels
  2. Search for hotels (pick a city, future dates)
  3. View hotel results
  4. Select a hotel
  5. Go through the booking flow
  6. Use test card: 4242 4242 4242 4242

What to look for:

  • Does hotel search return results?
  • Are hotels shown with photos, ratings, and pricing?
  • Does the booking flow complete?
  • Can you see the hotel booking in “My Bookings”?

Test 8: Voyages (Group Travel)

What to test:

  1. Browse available voyages (if any are listed)
  2. View a voyage detail page
  3. Try to book a voyage
  4. Check your booking confirmation

What to look for:

  • Are voyages displayed with details?
  • Does the booking flow work?
  • Can you see your voyage booking?

Test 9: My Bookings

What to test:

  1. Go to “My Bookings” or “Bookings”
  2. You should see all your flight, hotel, and voyage bookings
  3. Check booking details — dates, prices, status

What to look for:

  • Are all your bookings listed?
  • Are details correct (dates, prices)?
  • Can you see booking status (confirmed, pending)?

Test 10: Admin Dashboard (Admin Only)

What to test:

  1. If you have admin access, go to /admin
  2. View dashboard stats
  3. Check user management
  4. Review bookings

What to look for:

  • Does the admin dashboard load with stats?
  • Can you see user and booking data?
  • Do the numbers look correct?

Test 11: Mobile App

What to test:

  1. Open the mobile app
  2. Run through Tests 1-9 on mobile
  3. Check push notifications — do you get notified about trip invites, bookings?
  4. Try the feedback button

What to look for:

  • Does the app load without crashing?
  • Do all screens fit your phone properly?
  • Do push notifications arrive?
  • Can you submit feedback?

How to Report Issues

Use the feedback button (floating circle, bottom-right). Tap it and:

  1. Write what you were trying to do
  2. Write what happened instead
  3. Tap the screenshot button
  4. Hit Submit

We get the report automatically and an agent fixes it. You’ll see the fix on your next refresh or app update.
