Starter Heru Business Model
The Starter Heru program turns Quik Nation’s Auset Platform boilerplate into a Wix/Squarespace killer for small businesses and community organizations.
Core Principle
We do NOT do custom builds for Starter Herus. Every site is assembled from boilerplate components. The design comes from Magic Patterns. The speed comes from the swarm. The margin comes from recurring fees and platform transaction cuts.
How It Works
- Channel partner (e.g., Kevius Morgan) sources clients with garbage Wix/Squarespace sites
- Design: Scrape existing site images → Magic Patterns prompt → shareable link for approval
- Build: Auset Platform boilerplate components — Clerk, Stripe, admin panel, GA4, feedback SDK
- Deploy: AWS Amplify, same pipeline as enterprise Herus
- Revenue: Build fee + monthly recurring + platform transaction fees
Feature Tiers
| Tier | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $500 | Landing page, contact form, basic CMS, responsive, SEO |
| Growth | 1,500 | + Clerk auth, profile widgets, email notifications, Clara Lite |
| Pro | 2,500 | + Stripe checkout, e-commerce, admin dashboard, analytics, Clara Pro |
Revenue Streams
- One-time build fee: 2,500
- Monthly platform fee: Like Wix — hosting + maintenance
- Platform transaction fees: Quik takes a cut on every payment via Stripe Connect
- Clara AI upsell: Lite is free, Pro is $49/mo
- Feature upsells: Client can upgrade tier anytime
Design Tool: Magic Patterns (Interim)
- We have extensive credits
- Write detailed prompt + upload client’s existing images
- Get shareable design link for approval before coding
- Long-term: Build our own Magic Patterns competitor
Speed Target
- Days, not weeks. These are boilerplate assemblies, not engineering projects.
- Swarm handles implementation: Magic Patterns → Next.js in 1-2 days
Current Pipeline
- Kevius Morgan (Associate Partner): 10 clients, $10,000 total
- First client: Camp Al Kebulan ($500)
